Little Forth Cottage is the most magical and luxurious little space, complete with so many thoughtful amenities. The scenery and tranquility of this cottage was unlike any place we’ve ever stayed before. We wish we could wake up here every single day - could not recommend staying here enough!

Forth River cottage exceeded all our expectations. Beautifully presented and decorated, Sally & Louise have provided absolutely everything you need and more! From a bottle of champagne on arrival, to everything you need to whip up a delicious breakfast, the thoughtful touches are everywhere. We highly recommend Forth Cottage to anyone looking for a private, peaceful, yet luxurious location for a romantic getaway!

Sally and Louise have created the ideal space for relaxation and recovery. Their attention to detail in all aspects of the stay was, in our experience, unsurpassed. From the fresh flowers, home made preserves and fresh fruit to the perfectly appointed spaces and furnishings, everything was just perfect. We followed Sally’s excellent suggestion for dinner at Charlotte Jack in Devonport and loved the penguins at Lillico. She couldn’t be more helpful! Private and perfectly located for exploring the north west, we could not recommend Forth River Cottage high enough. Already planning our return!

Sally’s place in Forth is hands down the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Such a beautiful location and perfect little cottage. Sally was so generous with food available for us and the cottage was full of thoughtful little touches. If you’re thinking about travelling anywhere near Devonport then don’t go past this little gem. We were sad to leave!

A1 quality accomodation inside and the grounds surrounding were amazing along the riverfront. The hospitality was amazing along with the personal touches as well. Sally and the family certainly made our stay stress free and provided many additions with some local produce and condiments which was a lovely unexpected surprise. The location was a central location to do the north west of Tasmania and into Cradle Mountain and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend to any couple.

“Wow is all I can say!”
Wow is all I can say about Forth River Cottage! This was the place we were most looking at staying and it far exceeded out already high expectations. From the communication from Sally and Louise to when we checked in and all the little beautiful touches that you won’t find at your standard hotel. The cottage is furnished so beautifully and makes you feel so welcome and the breakfast of fresh local produce is incredible Cannot recommend the River Cottage highly enough!
